Rise of the Tomb Raider review: I played this before the 2013 one so I'm perfectly OK with calling this one Rise of the Tomb Raider.   Title: Rise of the Tomb Raider   Release: Xbox- November 13 th  2015 PC- January 28 th  PS4- October 11 th  2016   Platforms: I just listed them, look up. See?   I remember always quiet liking the Tomb Raider games, obviously when I was younger it was more along the lines of, "Look a woman." However, now I find myself just admiring her as a (fictional) person more than anything. Obviously, when it comes to talking about female characters on the Internet; you're  gonna  get shit from someone no matter what you say, that in mind, I think Lara Croft is a great character because she's smart, intelligent, gets shit done, makes her own decisions, relatable? The man lay in his king-sized bed. His beautiful partner was next to him, his spaniel lay across his feet. The man hated the dog being up on the bed: He detested the hair he had to clean, the weight on his legs, the lack of freedom to move in the bed- although, he thought, he did like the extra company. He neither felt cold nor warmth, he simply started falling. Or he felt like he was in free fall. After what felt like years of seeing colours no one has ever witnessed and feelings no one has ever felt his eyes opened. He was in bed. A dream, the man thought, nothing more. He turned to see his partn...

Asemblance  Review-  Why Aren’t you helping, Leon?   As a little  context:  the game literally starts with the  words, “Why aren’t you  helping?”   Title:  Asemblance   Initial release:  21 st  June  2016   Platforms:  PS4, PC.    Genre: puzzle, weird, psychological horror, mind  fuck.   I quite like horror. However, it is- in my opinion- one of the hardest genres to  pull off well; or even passable. It’s why I  think that I don’t really have that many great experiences with the horror genre.  It’s so easy to make horror cheesy or  to make just make it boring,   at least  if it’s cheesy it might actually entertain people. In horror I think it’s important to be able to build an at mosphere, a nice thick atmosphere, like  smog.  [note for later: Make sure you spell ‘smog’ with an “o” ]    Story  ...
